Our Craft
On Material Integrity, Precision, and the First Skin.
In an era dominated by synthetic blends and accelerated production cycles, craftsmanship is often reduced to surface aesthetics. At Nu Senses, craft begins long before design. It begins with material integrity.
We work exclusively with 100% pure cashmere — sourced from top-tier global mills, from Consinee to Loro Piana-grade suppliers. For us, sourcing is not a marketing story. It is the baseline of responsibility. Sustainable cashmere is not defined by slogans, but by fiber grading, traceability, and long-term supplier relationships built on technical trust.
Material is the foundation. Everything else follows.
Material Integrity
True luxury does not announce itself. It is felt.
We select long-staple fibers known for durability, resilience, and natural softness. By committing only to the highest standards of cashmere yarn sourcing, we ensure that every garment maintains structural integrity over time — resisting pilling, maintaining breathability, and aging with dignity.
From fiber origin to final knitting, transparency matters. Fiber content, washing guidance, and certification documentation are openly disclosed. Integrity is not an added feature. It is the starting point.
Precision Knit Engineering
Cashmere is often associated with softness alone. We approach it as engineering.
Our garments are designed between Copenhagen’s stillness and Singapore’s climatic contrast — a constant shift between tropical heat and controlled interiors. We engineer for 22°C equilibrium: a state where the body feels neither overheated nor insulated to excess.
Using 18-gauge knitwear construction, we achieve a rare balance — lightweight insulation, breathable structure, and controlled drape. True 18-gauge precision knitting requires advanced machinery, calibrated tension control, and technical experience. Few brands commit to this level of refinement because it demands discipline.
Precision is not visible.
It is felt in the absence of heaviness.
For the First Skin
We do not produce what we would not let our own children wear.
Our baby-grade cashmere line follows the same uncompromising discipline as our main collection. If a garment cannot comfort the most sensitive skin, it has no meaning.
The skin is the body’s first boundary with the world. It recognizes honesty immediately.
Natural fiber is not indulgence.
It is respect for life at its most vulnerable stage.
Sustainability & Safety
Craft without responsibility is incomplete.
Our commitment to sustainable cashmere includes certified safe processes such as OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class I — the highest safety classification suitable for baby garments.
We prioritize:
- Certified safe dyeing and finishing
- Transparent fiber composition disclosure
- Clear washing and care instructions
- Responsible mill partnerships
Sustainability is not trend language. It is structural decision-making — made quietly, consistently, and long before the garment reaches the wearer.
At Nu Senses, craft is not decorative.
It is a discipline of presence —
a practice of balance between body and climate, softness and structure, protection and lightness.
Material integrity.
Precision knitting.
Respect for the first skin.
This is our craft.
